Host City Munich celebrates its everyday champions

It's not just the football stars in the final who are champions - we all are! Students, artists, fair teams, people with disabilities, creative creators and, of course, the fans.

Host City Munich is celebrating its everyday champions from 11 different areas with various activities centred around the final. In the Olympic Park at the Champions Festival, at the Fan Meeting Point on Königsplatz and at other locations, the focus will be on important football topics: diversity, art & culture, inclusion, girls' football, fair play and more.

Are you committed to football - or do you know someone who is passionate about it? Then apply to be a champion, nominate others who are champions and become part of our campaign. If you take part, you have the chance to win tickets to the UEFA Champions League final in Munich!

How it works and how you can apply and nominate others as champions - all the information will be here soon!

All 11 actions at a glance

Football with a visual impairment, with a physical or mental disability - whether actively as a player, as a coach, in an initiative for disabled sport or in the stadium to enable fans with disabilities to participate: Football has long been an inclusive sport. People with disabilities show off their sport at a demo match in the Olympic Park.

Football is about goals and victories - and about fairness and respect! As a team, coach, referee or fan, have you made a special contribution to fair play? Did you give back a penalty or did your team not get a red card last season? Take a look over the referees' shoulders at the UEFA Ultimate Champions Legends Tournament on 30 May and meet legends such as Lothar Matthäus, Luis Figo, Kaka, Clarence Seedorf and Cafu.

Football at school: we're looking for the school champions! These are all those who live football between maths and geography, be it in the school team, in the football club or in the playground. Our school champions will receive a live tutorial with a well-known football freestyler. Meet the pro and learn new tricks!

Football and art - they go together! The champion is the one who is artistically inspired by football. Apply and be part of the live painting at the Fan Meeting Point on Königsplatz on the final day! A well-known Munich artist will share his skills with you.

The beauty of football is that it brings so many different people together. We want to make the diversity of football visible in an exhibition - with your photos, stories and lots of dialogue. The special thing about it: The exhibition is alive, growing and anyone can become a part of it!

Some children can't play football, even if they would like to. Host City Munich is taking the Champions League final as an opportunity to bring joy to these children and support encouragers in its valuable work - including with a visit to the cup during its pre-tour of the city in mid-May!

Football also takes place on social media and reaches millions of people there. The creators are our champions! Not just the big ones with a six-figure reach, but anyone who has a football account on Insta or TikTok, a YouTube channel or a podcast. Whether you've been doing it for years or have just started - you can apply for an influencer walk and report on ‘We all are champions’!

You can watch football in the stadium, at home - or in your favourite pub with friends. Munich's football heart beats here every week!  Represent your favourite pub at our table football tournament and meet the multiple table football world champion Chris Marks at the final!

Football is for everyone! We're celebrating you, the girls and young women who love football, whether you play in a club or just for fun on the pitch. Meet a former national player who will give you a look behind the scenes of women's football, play a round of football with her and ask her everything you ever wanted to know about women's football!

Much more than just a hobby: with eSports, you carry the spirit of football as players into the digital space - which also makes you champions for us. That's why we're playing an online and offline tournament together with you and would be delighted if lots of you took part!

They give you goosebumps: the champions behind the champions, who cheer their team on and whip them forward in every situation. Join in and sing a football anthem together, which you can then perform on the lake stage in the Olympic Park!
