The logo of the host city Munich with the Frauenkirche was designed and developed by the Lisbon-based creative agency VMLY&R Branding.
The basic colors of the tournament logo are borrowed from the national flags of the 55 UEFA member associations in various combinations. The shape of the logo is a reference to the roof of the Berlin Olympic Stadium; in the center is the famous Henri Delaunay Cup, surrounded by 24 color fields representing the number of finalists.
